In John chapter 6, Jesus said that He is the bread of life and that He gives eternal life with His flesh and blood. But many people only wanted the bread of the flesh and did not accept that word, and even among the disciples many left. In chapter 7, that unbelief and opposition become even clearer. Even His brothers in the flesh did not believe in Jesus, the Jewish leaders sought to kill Him, and the crowd also judged Jesus differently from one another, as a good man, as one who deceives, as the Prophet, or as the Christ.
